Short AF Series Review | She - Ra And The Princesses Of Power

Hey guys, so today I'm going to be doing a review on the TV series "She - Ra And The Princesses Of Power". As usual this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests) and spoiler free (however there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they contain spoilers however 9/10 times they don't. Its just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the series.)

"She - Ra, Princess of Power, leads a rebellion to free her land of Etheria from the monstrous invaders the Horde."

So as most 90's kids I watched the originals of these when I was younger (as they used to rerun a lot of 80's cartoons) so when I saw there was a reboot I obviously thought what everyone else who originally watched thought "they're going to ruin a classic show". Man, I was wrong. I love this series so much and I am devastated that it came to an end (even though it ended perfectly). The art is beautiful in this series and so are all of the characters. I love how inclusive this tv series is and how wonderful the story of all their friendships are. This series is very wholesome and I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

My favourite characters in the series:
- Spinerella: Spinerella is the plus sized babe we need in every tv series. If you know me you know I cosplay and it's nice finding people that look like you to cosplay. I love her relationship with her wife and I just adore her all around.
- Catra: I adore Catra so much, she starts off as the character that you love to hate but her backstory is heartbreaking and I'm so happy how her character development went and where she ended up in the series.
- Bow: Bow is just a wonderful character all around, just watch the series, you'll see what I mean!

My least favourite characters in the series:
- Mermista: Look, I still love her but in certain parts of the series she just gets slightly annoying and has a very edgier than you attitude.
- Shadow weaver: Shadow weaver makes for such a good bad guy in the fact that everything about her makes you wanna hate her.

I adored this series and I wish it never ended but unfortunately all good things must come to an end! If you get a chance to please watch the series!

What did you think of the series? Who were you favourite and least favourite characters? Do you have any movies, series or books you'd recommend for me to watch/read or want me to do a short AF review on? Please let me know down in the comments below!

As always, have a wonderful day.

Short AF Series Review | Luke Cage

Hey guys, so today I'm going to be doing a review on the TV series "Luke Cage". As usual this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests) and spoiler free (however there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they contain spoilers however 9/10 times they don't. It's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the series).

"When a sabotaged experiment gives him super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive attempting to rebuild his life in Harlem and must soon confront his past and fight a battle for the heart of his city."

So the main reason I wanted to watch this is because I'd already watched Jessica Jones and Luke had been introduced to us through Jessica Jones. This series is very action packed and has one of my favourite actors Rosario Dawson in which was an instant win for me. This series kept me on the edge of my seat and definitely left me wanting more. If you're not into action this may not be the series for you, but for me it's the perfect mixture of action and superhero. I love how gritty this movie gets and wish there was more than what they gave us. Sadly this series got cancelled however if they end up reviving the series I will definitely be binging it again!

My Favourite characters in the series:

- Luke Cage: Obviously the main character of the series is one of my favourites. I love the character development with him and love that his main objective is just to protect those around him.

- Claire Temple: I love Rosario Dawson okay? I just think she played Claire beautifully and she just makes me happy with whatever she is in.

My least favourite characters in the series:

- Cottonmouth: Hear me out, I believe all of the characters were really well written within this series but if I had to choose a least favourite it would be cottonmouth. He just irritated me in certain parts of the series. He was still a really well written character however.

I loved watching this series and hopefully one day netflix (or another company) will revive this series again! If you get the chance to definitely watch the series!

Short AF Series Review | Once Upon A Time

Hey guys! Today I'm going to be doing a short AF review on the TV series "Once Upon A Time". As usual this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests) and spoiler free. (However there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they can contain spoilers, 9/10 times they don't, it's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the series).

"A young woman with a troubled past is drawn to a small town in Maine where fairy tales are to be believed."

The reason I started watching this is because I recognised one of the characters from one of those weird tv shows that came on at 3 in the morning on 4 music. I loved the one episode that I watched and was never able to find it again until this kept on being recommended to me on netflix. The show is mainly based on a young boy called Henry and a woman called Emma in a town called Storybrooke. They somewhat retell a lot of disney stories and fairytales, some of which include snow white, little red riding hood etc. This show is so whimsical and I could genuinely binge watch it over and over again. There are so many characters to fall in love with and if you love disney I would 10/10 recommend this show!

My favourite people in the series:
- Captain Hook: Honestly a beautiful man, has some of the best one liners in the show and has the perfect amount of sarcasm.
- Mr. Gold: I was really excited to see Robert Carlyle in a tv series, his character is really mysterious and is always full of suprises
- Belle French: I love how strong Belle is in the series. She is definitely my favourite of all the characters in the show.

My least facourite people in the series:
- Hades: His storyline just went on for too long and it dragged too much. He was a good character I just wish it came to a conclusion quicker.
- Dr. Archie Hopper: He was just a boring character, I get that he had an important part to play in Henry's and Emma's storyline but I just wish there was more to him

This series is amazing and I genuinely recommend watching it. The only thing I would say is please give the series a chance past the first season as that is the one that takes the longest to get through. You won't regret it.

If you watched the series what did you think of it? Who were your favourite and least favourite characters? Do you have any movies, series or books you'd recommend for me to watch/read or want me to do a short AF review on? Please let me know down in the comments below!

Have a wonderful day!
