Short AF Series Review | You

Hey guys, so today I'm going to be doing a short AF review on the TV series "You". As usual this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests), and spoiler free. (However there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they can contain spoilers, however 9/10 times they don't. It's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the series.)

"A clever bookstore manager relies on his savvy Internet know - how to make the woman of his dreams fall in love with him."

Okay so before we get into this review, no IMDB that is not at all what this movie is about. You guys will see exactly what this movie is about once you've watched it. As bad as it sounds, the only reason I watched this movie is because I saw that Shay Mitchell was in it (and I loved her in pretty little liars, so I thought I would love her in this too). I binged this whole series in less than a day, I just could not stop watching. The tv series is gripping, it just keeps pulling you in for more. I love "Beck" as a character and find her somewhat relatable. The ending of the series had me right on the edge of my seat and whilst I'm not very happy with what happened... I understood why it did and that cliffhanger definitely left me wanting more. I love the way they portray Joe and how his character develops (Don't get me wrong, I know he's not a good character, I just like the way they portray him to be somewhat "good"

I cannot give this tv series enough praise, it's been a little while since I've seen a crime tv show entice me this much (other than "how to get away with murder" but we'll talk about that another day.) Please give this movie a try and let me know what you think of it. I give this series an 8/10 (only because of the ending).

What did you think of this series? Do you have any movies, series or books you'd recommend for me to watch/read or want me to do a short AF review on? Have you watched this series yet? Please let me know down in the comments below!

Have a wonderful day.

Short AF Movie Review | Bird Box

Hey guys so today I'm going to be doing a short AF movie review on the movie "Bird Box". As usual this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests) and spoiler free (However there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they can contain spoilers however 9/10 times they don't. It's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the movie)

"Five years after an ominous unseen presence drives most of society to suicide, a mother and her two children make a desperate bid to reach safety"

So this movie has been advertised everywhere since it was announced that it was going to be put onto netflix, so as you can imagine the hype for this was real. It has some amazing actors in, was a "psychological horror" and just had so much hype around. So I decided to watch it almost the moment it came out on netflix. Boy, this movie was so good. It's not very often that I enjoy horrors because I hate jump scares and I'm not good with scary stuff unless it's books. There wasn't many jump scares in this movie, but, if you're not good with suicide please do not watch this movie because there is quite a bit of it in this movie and it's done in a lot of different ways. If you love psychological horrors/thrillers I would definitely recommend this movie to you. The ending of this movie has had a lot of different reactions but personally I loved it. The only thing to me that was kind of disappointing is that we never got to see what the creatures looked like, however that also made it kind of more scary. (Also the fact that Sandra Bullock couldn't stop laughing when they were supposed to see the creatures probably means it was a good thing that it wasn't shown). Please, if you get the chance too, watch it! You won't be disappointed! I give this movie a 10/10!

Have you watched this movie yet? If you did, what did you think of it? Do you have any movies, series or books you'd recommend for me to watch/read or want me to do a short AF review on? Please let me know down in the comments below!

Short AF Movie Review | Nappily Ever After

Hey guys, so today I'm going to be doing a short AF movie review on the movie "Nappily Ever After". As usual, this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests), and spoiler free (However there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they can contain spoilers however 9/10 times they don't. It's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the movie)

"Violet Jones tired of waiting for her longtime boyfriend to propose, breaks up with him. But old feelings, and heaps of jealousy, no doubt, arise when he promptly begins dating another woman."

This movie has had so much hype behind it so I thought I'd give it a watch. It was actually worth every bit of hype that it was given. There's a lot of things about this movie that I'm not going to talk about because I personally can't. Honestly though, this is the most uplifting, positive, self loving movie I've watched in a long time. It was also amazing to watch a new bunch of actors that I've never seen in anything else before (other than Ricky Whittle who I've seen in both Hollyoaks as Calvin when I was younger and now American gods as Shadow. I also honestly hated him in this movie which I'm not happy about because he's the sweetest little cinnamon bun in both Hollyoaks and American gods but it was great to see that sort of acting from himself.). I loved watching Violet's journey of self love and how she turned into a strong, independent woman through the movie. I think young girls everywhere should watch this movie. 10/10 for me definitely.

Have you watched this movie yet? If you did, what did you think of it? Do you have any movies, series or books you'd recommend for me to watch/read or want me to do a short AF review on? Please let me know down in the comments below!

Short AF Movie Review | Bridget Jones's Baby

Hey guys so today I'm going to be doing a short AF movie review on the movie "Bridget Jones's Baby". As usual this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests) and spoiler free (However there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they can contain spoilers however 9/10 times they don't. It's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the movie)

I don't care who you are if you're over the age of 20 you probably grew up watching the first two movies, and even if you hated the first two movies you went to see this one so you could see what was going to happen! I actually loved the first two movies and when I saw this was coming out I knew that I had to watch it! The first thing I want to say is holy crap they all look so different. (I get that it's been a couple of years since the last movie came out and yes I've seen them in other movies but it was still weird). I loved that they played up the initial falling in the mud troupe (Sort of a spoiler but trust me it's not a huge thing). I loved that Bridget was still writing her diary. I was so happy to see the familiar faces and also to meet some new ones. It was definitely a perfect ending for Bridget Jones. I would recommend this to anyone who watched these movies growing up. 10 out of 10 for sure!

Short AF Movie Review | Bad Moms

Hey guys so today I'm going to be doing a short AF movie review on the movie "Bad Moms". As usual, this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests), and spoiler free. (However there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they can contain spoilers however 9/10 times they don't. It's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the movie.)

"When three overworked and under - appreciated moms are pushed beyond their limits, they ditch their conventional responsibilities for a jolt of long overdue freedom, fun and comedic self - indulgence."

So the main reason I wanted to watch this movie is because there are so many actors in this movie that I love (especially Mila Kunis), and it looked like such a funny comedy to get into. Let me tell you, I wasn't disappointed. I loved that the main theme of the story was that they shouldn't put each other down and should join in their womanhood in being "bad moms". Personally, I cannot touch on the mother experience as I don't have kids, and I also don't want kids. This movie was amazing though, it was really feel good and super funny! I love the character development in this movie especially with Amy and Kiki. I love that they were all strong, independent women OR became strong independent women. I'd give this movie a 9 out of 10, and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to watch a good comedy movie.

Have you watched this movie yet? If you did, what did you think of it? Do you have any movies, series or books you'd recommend for me to watch/read or want me to do a short AF review on? Please let me know down in the comments below!

Short AF Movie Review | Everything, Everything

Hey guys so today I'm going to be doing a short AF movie review on the movie "Everything, Everything". As usual, this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests), and spoiler free (However there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they can contain spoilers however 9/10 times they don't. It's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the movie)

"A teenager who's spent her whole life confined to her home falls for the boy next door."

So when the movie came out for this I was so excited to watch it. However, it took me forever to watch it because I wanted to read the book before watching the movie. So I finally got down to reading the book (which I'll probably do a short AF review on one day but today just isn't that day), I loved it so I decided I wanted to watch the movie. I loved it, honestly there wasn't a lot of things missing from the movie that there was from the book (I mean, there were a couple but nothing that would drive me crazy watching the movie). The story between these two progresses so naturally and I could eat up every moment of it. The visuals were stunning in this movie and they brought everything I could see in my own mind whilst reading the book to life. If you're a sucker for romance movies with a twist then you'll love this movie. I give it a 10 out of 10 for sure, and would recommend this to everyone (Unless you don't like romance movies obviously).

Have you watched this movie yet? If you did, what did you think of it? Do you have any movies, series or books you'd recommend for me to watch/read or want me to do a short AF review on? Please let me know down in the comments below!

Short AF Movie Review | The Boy Downstairs

Hey guys so today I'm going to be doing a short AF movie review on the movie "The Boy Downstirs". As usual, this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests), and spoiler free. (However there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they can contain spoilers however 9/10 times they don't. It's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the movie)

"A young woman is forced to reflect on her first relationship when she inadvertently moves into her ex - boyfriend's apartment building."

Okay so I promised you I wasn't going to be doing another musical this week and I stuck to this promise. However, I believe this will be the first ever non - positive movie review I've done on this blog. When the trailer for this movie came out, I was really excited for it. I love rom coms especially ones like this. I just didn't like this one. There was a lot of reasons for me to not like this movie. For example: The way it jumps around is so confusing and hard to keep up with and I just found myself getting disinterested (It can be done well, if you want a good movie that does that well watch "The Last Five Years"). Also I hated the ending, so much. It's the type of ending they want you to love but it just didn't work. The character's were really whiny and there was little to no character development. (I'm sorry to the people who may have enjoyed this but this one just wasn't for me)

Have you watched this movie yet? If you did, what did you think of it? Do you have any movies, series or books you'd recommend for me to watch/read or want me to do a short AF review on? Please let me know down in the comments below!

Short AF Movie Review | Beauty And The Beast (2017)

Hey guys so today I'm going to be doing a short AF movie review on the movie "Beauty And The Beast". As usual, this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests), and spoiler free. (However there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they can contain spoilers however 9/10 times they don't. It's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the movie)

So once again, this is another musical film (I'm sorry guys I promise my next one is not going to be a musical film but I just love them), and not only is it a musical film, it's a remake of a classic that I grew up with. So to jump straight into this movie I was really worried that it wasn't going to be similar to the original Disney movie. I was also a little bit speculative of Emma playing the role of Belle (Emma is an amazing actress by the way, it's just the fact that it was a singing part and I've never heard her sing. She was perfect for the role in every other way however). Belle was always a princess I could relate to, always had her head stuck in a book and loved stories. So it held a very special place in my heart growing up. This movie was a brilliant remake. I loved seeing the characters I know and love brought to life. My favourite character in this movie would definitely have to be Maurice. He was a lot different than he was from the original movie but also had a lot of the traits we love about him in the original too. I was amazed at some of the songs they added in to the movie and how they performed the old ones as well. Please if you want to watch this movie don't shrug it off just because you're worried it's not going to be the same, because to be honest it isn't, but it's not the same in a good way. It's marvellous.

Short AF Movie Review | The Greatest Showman

Hey guys so today I'm going to be doing a short AF movie review on the movie "The Greatest Showman". As usual, this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests), and spoiler free. (However there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they can contain spoilers however 9/10 times they don't. It's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the movie)

"Celebrate the birth of show business, and tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation."

So if you know me, you'll know my guilty pleasure is musical movies. I adore nothing more than a good musical. I also adore Hugh Jackman, so put them together and you've certainly got the perfect movie. I loved this movie, I loved the magic around the movie and around P.T. Barnum's mind. I loved the love in this movie, I loved the sadness. It was a full on roller coaster of emotions in this movie. One of the big points in this movie was around racism, and how people of colour was treated back then (and are continuously treated now). I'm not gonna touch too much on that because it's not my place, but it was portrayed really well. (Also Zendaya was amazing in this movie, however it took me a good couple of minutes to realize it was her. Pink hair suits her so much). The songs in this are wonderful and so catchy. My favourite song in the movie is definitely "A Million Dreams" (Before you all come at me, yes "This Is Me" is amazing. But "A Million Dreams" has more of that musical sound that I adore plus the visuals whilst they were singing it was stunning, also even if you don't watch the movie, please give these two songs and "Rewrite the stars" a listen, you won't be dissapointed). If you love musicals I would definitely recommend this one. There's a huge reason it's getting so much praise. Trust me when I say it's worth it.

Have you watched this movie yet? If you did, what did you think of it? Do you have any movies, series or books you'd recommend for me to watch/read or want me to do a short AF review on? Please let me know down in the comments below!

Short AF Movie Review | To All The Boys I've Loved Before

Hey guys so today I'm going to be doing a short AF movie review on the movie "To All The Boys I've Loved Before". As usual, this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests), and spoiler free. (However there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they can contain spoilers however 9/10 times they don't. It's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the movie)

"A teenage girl's secret love letters are exposed and wreak havoc on her love life."

So as I said last week when I did a Short AF review on "Sierra Burgess Is A Loser" netflix have been bringing out some fab films lately, and this is one of them! To all the boys I've loved before is a cute rom com based of the book of the same name by Jenny Han. (A book that I've now got on my wishlist to get on payday so I can read it after watching this movie). I loved this movie so much, it was cute, it was funny, it had real, raw emotion. Once again, it reminded me of all the 90's rom coms I used to watch growing up however mixing in today's school life and technology making it more interesting to watch. I definitely recommend this to everyone and anyone you should definitely give it a chance! It definitely has made me want to read the book now though!

Once again, get yourself on netflix and watch this movie, it's pretty awesome and hopefully you'll love it as much as I did.

Have you watched this movie yet? If you did, what did you think of it? Do you have any movies, series or books you'd recommend for me to watch/read or want me to do a short AF review on? Please let me know down in the comments below!

Short AF Movie Review | Sierra Burgess Is A Loser

Hey guys so today I'm going to be doing a short AF movie review on the movie "Sierra Burgess Is A Loser". As usual, this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests), and spoiler free. (However there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they can contain spoilers however 9/10 times they don't. It's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the movie)

"A case of mistaken identity results in unexpected romance when the most popular girl in high school and the biggest loser must come together to win over their crushes."

So I've been hyped up for this movie since the advert came out because one netflix have been bringing out some fab movies lately and two something about it reminded me of late 80's early 90's teen movies. On that side, it did not disappoint. It was quirky, it was funny there were so many parts in this movie that was just relatable. However.. (This bit is slightly spoilery, but not at the same time) Sierra Burgess was a body positive young girl who told herself she was wonderful in the mirror at the beginning of this movie. At the end of this movie she was insecure because of a boy. This was a huge disappointment. There's not enough movies out there which shows body positive girls and then they show one and take it away the moment a boy is involved. I know this makes me sound like a stuck up feminist, but it just was sad to see. This movie could have been a real feel good movie if it was not for that. There were some characters I adored the development of, especially veronica, and I just wish there were more of that in the movie. I would recommend this if you like movies like this, because it is an enjoyable movie. That was my only fault with it and it's not enough of one to tell people not to watch it, and also not enough to not watch it again. If you get a chance too and you like movies like this it's currently on netfix right now!

Have you watched this movie yet? If you did, what did you think of it? Do you have any movies, series or books you'd recommend for me to watch/read or want me to do a short AF review on? Please let me know down in the comments below!

Short AF Movie Review | Alex Strangelove

Hey guys so today I'm going to be doing a Short AF movie review on the movie "Alex Strangelove". As usual, this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests), and spoiler free. (However there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they can contain spoilers however 9/10 times they don't. It's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the series).

"Alex Truelove is a well - rounded high school senior with a wonderful girlfriend Claire and a bright future ahead of him - and with plans to achieve his last teenage milestone by losing his virginity. But things get complicated when he meets Elliot, a handsome and charming gay kid from the other side of town, who unwittingly sends Alex on a roller coaster journey of sexual exploration, kicking off a hilarious and moving adventure of love, sex and friendship in our liberated and confusing modern times."

Okay so this movie makes my little LGBT heart so happy. This movie is everything I hoped it was going to be from watching the trailers. Netflix did this so well and I loved everything about it. I loved Claire so much, I loved Elliot. This movie is so pure and so wholesome and you just find yourself rooting for Alex the whole way through. It gets the messages across that it's trying to get across and does it in such a fun way. It's really nice to watch a lighthearted LGBT+ movie. I would definitely recommend this to everyone, I wish I had these types of movies when I was growing up and finding out who I am. I can still however enjoy this at 24 and be super proud and happy that young people have things like this to let them know they are okay as they are, and nothing is wrong with them.

Please, if you have the time, get yourself on netflix and watch this movie! I promise you won't regret it!

Short AF Series Review | Insatiable

Hey guys. Long time no see! I've been super busy lately so I haven't really had much chance to read any books or watch any movies until now. So I should be back to my usual programming from now on. But to jump back into things I thought I'd do a short AF review on a TV series (or more a netflix series) which is something that I haven't done before. Please let me know if you like this down below, and I'll probably do some more of these. Today's short AF review is going to be on the controversial insatiable. As usual this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests), and spoiler free. (However there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they can contain spoilers however 9/10 times they don't. It's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the series)

"A disgraced, dissatisfied civil lawyer - turned - beauty pageant coach takes on a vengeful, bullied teenager as his client and has no idea what he's about to unleash upon the world."

Okay so first of all let's talk about some of the controversy that's been going around this tv show. A lot of people have been saying that this TV show sounds like it's all about body shaming and eating disorders etc etc. And to be honest, it is a little bit, but not in the way that's easy to get mad about (this is coming from a chubby girl herself). This movie does bring up those topics, but also shows how bad these topics are and why they need to be brought up. But that's all I'm going to say on the controversy, so let's get into the actual series.

The main reason I wanted to watch this tv series is because I've loved both Debby Ryan and Alyssa Milano since I was young (I mean 90's baby, course I wanted to see what my favourite Halliwell babe was doing now). I genuinely didn't know how I was going to feel about this show but I am glad I watched it. There were some bits I really loved and some bits I absolutely hated. A lot of the things that Patty was going through is definitely something a lot of people can relate too (in regards to her weight, not in everything which you will see when you watch the series). I also adore Alyssa's character. I didn't however like how they presented some things in the series such as bob, and honestly Nonnie deserved so much better than the way they portrayed her. It was hit and miss on so many topics throughout this tv show. But hopefully the second series is a lot better and also has a lot more hits.

I would recommend this to any teenager or young adult (or even "proper adults" if you're into shows like this). Just be aware that like me, you might not like how everything is portrayed. But definitely give the show a go.

What did you think of this series? Do you have any movies, series or books you'd recommend for me to watch/read or want me to do a short AF review on? Have you watched this series yet? Please let me know down in the comments below!

Have a wonderful day.

Short AF Book Review | Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

Hey guys so today I'm going to be doing a Short AF book review on the book "Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda" by Becky Albertalli. As usual this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests) and spoiler free. (However there will be the blurb of the book in this blog post and sometimes they can contain spoilers but usually they don't. Just something to keep in mind if you're interested in reading this book.)

"Straight people should have to come out too. The more awkward it is, the better.

Simon Spier is sixteen and trying to work out who he is - and what he's looking for.

But when one of his emails to the very distracting Blue falls into the wrong hands, things get all kinds of complicated.

Because for Simon, falling for Blue is a big deal...

It's a holy freaking huge awesome deal."

So most of you would have probably heard of this book or, at least, the movie of the book "Love, Simon". I saw the trailers for "Love, Simon" and the moment I found out it was a book I knew I had to buy the book and read it. For me, I really love LGBT+ literature because I'm part of the LGBT+ community and I'm always interested to see how LGBT+ literature plays out because some people get it so so wrong, and some people get it really right. I think in this case, they got it really right. (Now some people may disagree with me and that's their personal opinions but please remember that everyone's experiences is different, and my experience could be completely different to others." I adored a lot of the characters in this book and some other characters really grated on me. I however think that is due to the fact that it is set in high school and teenagers can be so so mean (Yes, some teenagers, probably more than when I was a teen are a bit more accepting these days, however bullying culture still exists and anything that makes you any type of different will still result in teenagers being mean. Regardless of what century we're in. A lot still needs to change for the world to be better for the LGBT+ community and I think the book really showed that). I really loved Simon and Blue and how their relationship progressed and I thought it was so sweet and pure and it just felt kind of natural? I would definitely recommend this book to everyone and anyone it's such a sweet novel and I loved it. I gave this book a 4 out of 5 star rating on goodreads. Please give this book a read it's worth it.

What did you think of this book? Do you have any movies or books that you recommend or want me to do a short AF review on? Have you read this book yet? Please let me know down in the comments below!

Have a wonderful day.

Love Lyndsay.

Short AF Book Review | The Iron Man by Ted Hughes

Hey guys so today I'm going to be doing a Short AF book review on the book "The Iron Man" by Ted Hughes. As usual this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests), and spoiler free. (However there will be the goodreads synopsis in this blog post and sometimes they can contain spoilers but usually they don't, usually the blurb of the book is in the blog post but for some reason there's no blurb on my copy of The Iron Man. Just something to keep in mind if you're interested in reading this book.)

"Mankind must put a stop to the dreaded destruction caused by the Iron Man. A trap is set for him, but he cannot be kept down. Then, when a terrible monster from outer space threatens to lay waste to the planet, it is the Iron Man who finds a way to save the world."

So the first thing I quickly want to mention is I have never ever read this book before. Yes, I know you're usually supposed to read it as a kid but I never got the chance to. I also have never seen the movie but definitely will be doing so now that I've read the book! Whilst reading this book I decided to leave annotations on sticky notes in the book, this is the first time I've done this whilst reading a book that I'm going to be doing a Short AF review on because normally I write one a couple of hours after reading the book so it is fresh in my mind. However, my laptop was broken so couldn't do that so if the format seems different that is why. If you prefer this format also, please leave a comment down below. One of the first things I noticed in the book was the silhouette style of art in it. I loved all the drawings in the book and it made a better reading experience. Some of the art took up only small portions of the page and some pieces took up two pieces but they we're all stunning. One of the things I had a love hate relationship with was the amount of short sentences in the book. I loved it because it's a kids book so it made sense for it to be wrote in that way, and sometimes brought out the urgency in what the writer was trying to convey, however other times it made the book hard to keep up with and I found myself having to re read those sentences a couple of times. The book also immerses you using a lot of sounds and colours to describe things, especially when it comes to how the iron man is feeling. It allows you to picture what is happening in your head and I love books that are that immersive. I loved that Hogarth was so brave and kind, he was an extremely relatable character and is definitely a character kids can look up to, I honestly wrote as an annotation "Hogarth has a heart of GOLD" and I stand by that. The amount of empathy that boy has for a kid of his age is unbelievable. The magic that Ted has placed in the real world in this book is pretty amazing, as a child I would have really appreciated this as I was the kind of kid who wanted to find magic everywhere. You find yourself empathising with a lot of the characters in this book, and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has children, or anyone who just wants a short read as the book is only 80 pages and most are filled with pictures. I gave this book a 3 out of 5 star rating on goodreads (but you better believe if it was me as a kid reading this it probably would have been a 5 out of 5 stars).

What did you think of this book? Did you read it when you were younger or have you not read it yet? Do you have any movies or books that you recommend or want me to do a short AF review on? Please let me know in the comments down below!

Have a wonderful day.

Short AF Book Review | They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera

Hey guys so today I'm going to be doing a Short AF book review on the book "They Both Die At The End" by Adam Silvera. As usual this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests), and spoiler free. (However there will be the blurb of the book in this blog post and sometimes they can contain spoilers but usually they don't. Just something to keep in mind if you're interested in reading this book.)

"On September 5th, a little after midnight, Death - Cast calls Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio to give them some bad news: they're going to die today. Mateo and Rufus are total strangers, but, for different reasons, they're both looking to make a new friend on their End Day. The good news: there's an app for that. It's called the Last Friend, and through it, Rufus and Mateo are about to meet up for one last great adventure - To live a lifetime in a single day."

Okay so this book is based in a world where "Death Cast" call you at midnight on the day that you are going to die so you're able arrange everything you need to before you end up dying. Mateo and Ruthus both have this call and end up meeting through an app called The Last Friend to spend their last day together. Before you even begin reading this book, just know that you might (You're definitely going to) cry a lot. So get some tissues, a hot drink and allow yourself to be pulled into the stories. There are so many characters in this book and each character touches on different topics and how important these topics are to the main characters lives. There's amazing character development throughout so if anything definitely read it for that. I was invested in every single character they introduced including the ones that were only in one or two chapters of the books. If you are uncomfortable with the topic of death however I would not recommend this to you as it is literally the main topic. There's a lot of unresolved questions regarding other characters in the books that part of me wish they answered and part of me is glad they didn't because that is what life and death is, unexpected and sometimes unexplained. I gave this book a 5 out of 5 star rating on goodreads. Please read this beautiful masterpiece you won't regret it.

What did you think of this book? Do you have any movies or books that you recommend or want me to do a short AF review on? Have you read this book yet? Please let me know down in the comments below!

Have a wonderful day.

Love Lyndsay.

Short AF Movie Review | Avengers Infinity War

Hey guys so today I'm going to be doing a Short AF movie review on the movie "Avengers: Infinity War". As usual (even though the old ones are deleted but if you remember then you know this), this review is going to be short and sweet (like the title suggests), and spoiler free. (However there will be the IMDB synopsis in this and sometimes they can contain spoilers however they usually don't. It's just something to keep in mind if you're planning on watching the film.)

"The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe."

Okay, so first things first. If you know me at all, you know that I'm more of a DC girl. I always have been and my love for John Constantine has thoroughly put DC the biggest place in my heart. However, since me and James have started dating I've been getting more and more into the Marvel universe due to him loving it so much. Before this movie we marathoned most of the movies in chronological order (we're still going, we're almost done now though). I have characters that I've truly and utterly fallen in love with and some that I just don't like at all. The majority of the characters that I've grown to love are in this movie though and it made me super excited to watch it. We went at 10pm at night all smiles and excitement and left the movie theatre at 12:40am with tears in our eyes. The movie is action packed and there's a lot of story in those 2 hours and 40 minutes. There was a lot of laughter, there was definitely a lot of tears. I'd recommend this movie to any comic book fan, but I would definitely recommend marathonning the movies as well like me and Jamie did. It's a great movie and I can't wait for the next movie in the series.

What did you think of this movie? Do you have any movies or books that you recommend or want me to do a short AF review on? Have you watched this movie yet? Please let me know down in the comments below!

Have a wonderful day.

What I've Been Watching On Netflix

Hey guys so lately I've been watching a lot of netflix in my spare time. I have a load of tv shows that I love on there, so thought I'd share a couple of the ones I've been watching with you. These are in no particular order. So let's just get into it.

Big Mouth | 2017

"Teenage friends find their lives upended by the wonders and horrors of puberty."

Okay so this is first on the list because I'm actually watching this whilst I'm writing this blog post. This tv series probably won't be to everyone's taste, but I find a lot of it hilarious. It discusses a lot of the issues you have whilst you're going through puberty, however some of the characters can be a little bit problematic.

Friends | 1994

"Follow the personal and professional lives of six 20 to 30 - something - year - old friends living in Manhattan."

So I used to watch this when I was a kid and if you follow me on twitter you've probably seen that I've just finished it. I loved this when I first watched it and I love it just as much now. It brings back so much nostalgia and I binged it in about 2 months. Definitely worth the watch if you haven't seen it before. (Also side note, Ross is a douche)

Dynasty | 2017

"Follows two of America's wealthiest families as they feud for control over their fortune and their children."

Okay so the main reason I wanted to watch this is because Elizabeth Gillies is in it. I'm really glad I started watching it because it's a really great tv series. I didn't originally know that there was a 80s tv show or that this was a remake. I might have to watch it after this series finished.

Riverdale | 2016

"A subversive take on Archie and his friends, exploring small town life, the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale's wholesome facade."

So I started watching this about halfway through the first season because I didn't want to give into the hype. But I'm so glad that I did. This tv show is amazing. There's so many twists and turns in this tv show and it always leaves you wanting more each episode. My favourite character is definitely Cherry Blossom.

Once Upon A Time | 2011

"A young woman with a troubled past is drawn to a small town in Maine where fairy tales are to be believed"

Okay so there's a lot of seasons in this series and there's a lot of episodes per season. So it makes for a really great binge watch. When you watch it please get past the first season. The first season isn't the best out of all of them but once you get past it it's an amazing series.

RuPaul's Drag Race | 2009

"RuPaul searches for America's next drag superstar."

So the only trailer I could find is for season 9 but all of the series are pretty much the same so it doesn't make too much of a difference. I love RuPaul's drag race and I get excited over all of the seasons contestants. It's currently on season 10 and I've been watching this season every single week.

Jane The Virgin | 2014

"A young, devout Catholic woman discovers that she was accidentally artificially inseminated."

I absolutely adore this tv show. This is one of the most amazing tv shows I've watched for a long time. It'll make you laugh, it'll make you cry, you'll have so many emotions watching this TV show. It's definitely made me feel more interested in trying to find some good tellanovellas (if anyone has any please leave them in the comments down below). Gina Rodriguez is also one of the most gorgeous women I've seen on this planet.

And that's most of what I've been watching on netflix lately. I'd definitely recommend checking out all of these tv shows. Do you have any recommendations to watch on netflix? (Please keep in mind it's Netflix UK for me). Have you watched any of these? What did you think of them? Please leave your comments down below.

Have a wonderful day.

Love, Lyndsay.

Question 3: What's Your Biggest Blog - Related Pet Peeve?

When people tell others what they should/shouldn't do with their blogs. I don't mean when it's specifically been asked either and constructive criticism is okay. But blogs are meant to be an expression of their writer's individuality. Don't try and control what someone else can and can't do with theirs.

Question 4: What's Your Biggest Non - Blog Related Pet Peeve?

I really liked doing maths in school, so much that I took the extra statistics GCSE in year 10.

Question 16: If You Could Live Anywhere In The World, Where Would You Live?

I don't think that I'd change where I lived. Like if this was a if you could travel anywhere in the world it would be a whole other story. My family is here though, and I love where I live. So I'd stay where I am.

Question 17: PC or MAC?

Well considering I always use a PC. I'm going to have to say a PC. Not just that but whenever I'm on a MAC it feels like I'm using an alien computer and have no idea what I'm doing.

Question 20: What Blogger Do You Secretly Want To Be Best Friends With?

No one to be honest. It's not that I don't like making friends with people but I don't have that whole idolism around people who I watch or read online.

Question 21: Who Is Your Biggest Inspiration?

As cheesey as it sounds. My mother is my biggest inspiration. She's always been the strongest woman in my life and is an amazing role model. If I could aspire to by like anyone it would definitely be my mum.
